Tars Climb Standings on Latest Polls

Rollins Ascends to Third on IWLCA Poll, and Fourth on US Lacrosse Top 20


WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 15, 2019) – After a week that saw the Tars roll to back-to-back wins over nationally-ranked opponents, the Rollins women's lacrosse team climbs the standings on both the IWLCA Division II Poll, and the NIKE/US Lacrosse DII Top 20 this week.

The Tars Ascend to No. 3 on the latest IWLCA DII Poll, climbing two spots from last week's tie for fifth place with the University of Tampa.  Le Moyne, who remains unbeaten with a record of 13-0, remains at No. 1 and received all 25 first place votes, followed by Adelphi at No. 2 with a record of 12-1.  Behind the Tars in fourth is Regis (Colo.) with an unbeaten record of 13-0, followed by Florida Southern at No. 5.  Also checking in on the poll from the Sunshine State Conference are Tampa at No. 6, and Saint Leo at No. 22.

On the NIKE/US Lacrosse DII Top 20 this week, the Tars get the nod at No. 4 this week.  Le Moyne, Regis, and Adelphi check in at first through third, respectively, while Lindenwood follows the Tars at No. 5.  From the SSC, Florida Southern earns the No. 6 spot, followed by Tampa at No. 9, and Saint Leo at No. 14.
