SET-UP:
With one final regular season game on the schedule, the Tars set their sights on hosting Embry-Riddle in a Wednesday night Sunshine State Conference match-up at Cahall-Sandspur Field. Prior to the game, the Tars will honor eight seniors during a special Senior Night ceremony.    Fans who are unable to support the Tars in person will be able to follow all of the action live on the Tars Sports Network, as well as with live stats on TarsStats.com.

TRACKING THE TARS:
The Tars checked in at No. 3 on the IWLCA Poll and No. 4 US Lacrosse Top 20 this week, and enter into Wednesday's game with a record of 13-1, and 4-1 in SSC action.  After 14 games played this season, the Tars have scored 252 goals, averaging 18.00 per game, while earning 109 assists.  The Tars are averaging 37.93 shots per game, and own a shot percentage of .475 as a team. 

Hannah Ashton has moved into the top spot for goals scored so far this season with 46, followed by Kallie German with 44, Paige Brock With 28, and Lily Rizk with 23.  German has notched a team best 36 assists so far this season, while Caroline Gastonguay has handed out 17, and Nikki Stumpf has earned 10.  Leading the team in ground balls is goalie Gabby Tanner with 26, with Rizk close behind with 25.  Lindsay Van Beck has amassed a team best 59 draw controls so far this season, followed by Maggie Dougherty with 55, and Taylor Kienle with 35.  Van Beck also leads the team in caused turnovers with 19, followed by German with 14.  In goal, Tanner has played a total of 688:43 minutes, earning 90 saves while allowing 95 goals, for a goals against average of 8.28 and a save percentage of .486.

TRACKING THE EAGLES:
Now in their second full year as a program, the Embry-Riddle Eagles hold onto a record of 10-5 and 2-2 in Sunshine State Conference play entering into Wednesday night's game.  With 15 games played, the Eagles have scored 246 goals, averaging 16.4 per game, and have handed out 118 assists.  ERAU is averaging 35.3 shots per game, and holds a shot percentage of .465.

Leading the way for the Eagles is McKenzie Jackson with 52 goals, followed by Mya Watson with 45, and Gillian Greenberg with 31.  Watson leads the team in assists with 21, followed closely by Jackson with 20, and Torie Lammes with 19.  Jackson has earned a team best 77 ground balls, followed by Elizabeth Ninesling with 69.  Emily Suh has totaled a team best 20 caused turnovers, with Kendall Leonard close on her heels with 19, and Ninesing with 18.  Jackson has amassed an impressive 121 draw controls so far this season.  In goal, Mary Catherine Kreider and Skylar Mossop have played almost equal time between the pipes, with Kreider seeing a total of 419:12 minutes, and Mossop 401:50.  Kreider has faced 176 shots, earning 61 saves while allowing 75 goals for a save percentage of .449 and a goals against average of 10.73.  Mossop has faced 171 shots, earning 48 saves while allowing 85 goals, for a goals against average of 12.69, and a save percentage of .361.

  • The Tars will face an Embry-Riddle squad who is led by former Rollins women's lacrosse standout Marissa Giannerini `11.  Giannerini is still a prominent name in program record books as she is fourth in all-time career points (181), fourth in all-time career goals (154), and 14th in all-time career assists (27), all in just three seasons with the Tars.  She also ranks seventh in career ground balls (118), 11th in draw controls (76), and ninth in caused turnovers (45).
