Senior Earns Third Conference Weekly Awards of the Season
MELBOURNE, Fla. (March 22, 2019) – For her 10 point performance against Embry-Riddle last week, Rollins senior attacker Kallie German has been named Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week, league officials announced Monday.
This marks the third SSC Offensive Player of the Week award for German this season, and the seventh of her career.
German netted 10 points on the night en route to the No. 3 Tars' 17-6 win over Embry-Riddle on Wednesday evening. German scored four goals and added six assists, totaling six shots and four shots on goal while adding a draw control. With her first goal of the game, German became the program's all-time leader in goals scored with 196. With German's help, the Tars closed out their regular season with a record of 14-1, and 5-1 in SSC action.
The Tars return to action on Thursday, April 25, when they host the University of Tampa Spartans in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament Semifinals. Game time against the Spartabs is set for 7:30 p.m. at Cahall-Sandspur Field.
