SET-UP:
After winning a share of the 2019 Sunshine State Conference Regular Season Championship, the Rollins women's lacrosse team enters into the 2019 SSC Tournament as the No. 2 seed.  The Tars will host third-seeded Tampa on Thursday night in a 7:30 p.m. matchup at Cahall-Sandspur Field, marking the third time this season the two teams have face off in Winter Park.  Fans who are unable to support the Tars in person will be able to follow all of the action live on the Tars Sports Network, as well as with live stats on TarsStats.com.

TRACKING THE TARS:
The Tars checked in at No. 3 on the IWLCA Poll and No. 4 US Lacrosse Top 20 this week, and enter into Thursday's SSC Tournament Semifinal game as the No. 2 seed.  Rollins owns a record of 14-1 on the season, having dropped their only contest to then-No. 8 Florida Southern on April 3.  Since then, the Tars have won four straight, including a win over then fifth-ranked Tampa on April 10.  The Tars have put up 269 goals and 118 assists, averaging 17.93 goals per game, 37.40 shots per game, and a shot percentage of .480.

Hannah Ashton and Kallie German lead the way with 48 goals apiece, followed by Paige Brock with 29, and Lily Rizk with 25.  German has added an impressive 42 assists, good for 90 points on the season.  Also handing out double-digit assist totals are freshman Caroline Gastonguay with 18, and Nikki Stumpf with 10.  Gabby Tanner leads the team in ground balls with 27, followed by Rizk with 25, Gastonguay with 19, and Lindsay Van Beck with 18.  Van Beck leads the team in draw controls with 64, as well as caused turnovers with 23.  Maggie Dougherty has earned 60 draw controls of her own, good for second best on the team.  Behind Van Becks' team-leading 23 caused turnovers, German follows with 15.  Tanner has started all 15 contests for the Tars this season, playing a total of 748:42 minutes in cage where she has earned 96 saves while allowing 101 goals.  Tanner enters into Thursday's game wit a save percentage of .487, and a goals against average of 8.09.

TRACKING THE SPARTANS:
Riding a three-game win streak entering into Thursday night's matchup, the Spartans find themselves ranked sixth on the IWLCA DII Poll, and ninth on the NIKE/US Lacrosse Top 20.  Tampa has played 15 games so far this season, and hold onto a record of 12-3 overall.  UT has put up a total of 259 goals and 116 assists, averaging 17.27 goals per game and 35.53 shots per game with a shot percentage of .486.

Carly Vaccaro has scored a team best 47 goals, followed by Claire Swanson with 40, Caroline Forester with 28, and Kristyn Staley with 37.  Rachel Crawford has handed out a team best 31 assists, while Staley comes in with a second-best 21.  Bridget Sutter has earned a team best 60 ground balls, with Swanson following with 31, and Abby Coccagna with 28.  Swanson has amassed a blistering 123 draw controls this season, averaging 8.2 per contest.  Defensively, Swanson leads the team with 21 caused turnovers, followed by Alexa Scudillo with 19.  In goal for Tampa, Sutter has played 785:11 minutes, earning 136 saves while allowing 139 goals.  Sutter holds onto a save percentage of .495, and a goals against average of 10.62.
