SET-UP:
Advancing out of their first game of the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history, the third-seeded Rollins women's lacrosse team will face off against the No. 4 seeded Queens University of Charlotte on Sunday afternoon in the NCAA Division II Tournament Quarterfinals.  The Tars, who checked in at No. 7 on the IWLCA Division II Poll, and No. 10 on the NIKE/US Lacrosse Top 20 this week, enter into the Quarterfinals with a record of 15-2 after earning a 12-11 victory over No. 6 Florida Southern on Friday afternoon in the tournament's First Round.  With a record of 18-2, and earning the No. 10 position on the IWLCA Poll and No. 8 on the US Lacrosse Top 20, the Royals advanced to the Quarterfinals after a thrilling 16-15 win over the top-seeded University of Tampa Spartans on Friday.  Sunday's South Region showdown will mark the first time the Tars and Royals have matched up this season.  Links to live coverage of the game are available on RollinsSports.com.

TRACKING THE TARS:
The Tars checked in at No. 7 on the IWLCA Poll and No. 10 US Lacrosse Top 20 this week, and enter into Sunday's game with a record of 15-2.  After 17 games played this season, the Tars have scored 291 goals, averaging 17.12 per game, while earning 129 assists.  The Tars are averaging 36.82 shots per game, and own a shot percentage of .465 as a team. 

Hannah Ashton leads the team in goals with 53, followed by Kallie German with 51, while Paige Brock and Lily Rizk have scored 30 apiece.  German has amassed a team high 48 assists, good for 99 points on the season, followed by Caroline Gastonguay with 19, and 10 by both Ashton and Nikki StumpfGabby Tanner leads the team in ground balls with 30, while Lily Rizk has earned 25, and Lindsay Van Beck has won 21.  Van Beck has earned a team best 74 draw controls, and is followed by Maggie Dougherty with 64, and Taylor Kienle with 39.  Van Beck has also notched a team high 24 caused turnovers, with German following with 15 of her own.  In goal, Tanner has played 872:54 minutes, earning 121 saves while allowing 126 goals, good for a goals against average of just 8.66 and a save percentage of .490.

TRACKING THE ROYALS:
Queens checked in at No. 10 on the IWLCA Poll and No. 8 US Lacrosse Top 20 this week, and enter into NCAA Tournament with a record of 18-2.  The 2019 South Atlantic Conference Champions have played in 20 games so far this season, scoring 385 goals and adding 198 assists.  Queens averages 19.25 goals per game, 36.20 shots per game, and boast a shot percentage of .533 as a team.

The Royals are led by Katie Wardle with 54 goals, followed by 53 from Rachel Perrett and 50 from Kara Blanchard.  Ally Blood has dished out a team best 45 assists, while Hanna Scott has handed out 43 of her own.  Cammy Case has earned a team best 45 ground balls, followed by Kyleigh Masteran with 40, and Chase Brokaw with 36.  Case also leads the team with 31 caused turnovers, while Sydney Hussey as amassed a team best 84 draw controls.  In goal, Brokaw has played a total of 810:34 minutes, facing 342 shots.  Brokaw has earned 130 saves while allowing 111 goals, holding onto a goals against average of 8.22 and a save percentage of .539.
