Tars Rowing Puts Eight on CRCA Scholar-Athlete List

WINTER PARK, Fla. (June 18, 2018) – The Rollins rowing team boasted eight Tars on the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar-Athlete list. 

Eligible student-athletes must me in their second, third or fourth year of rowing and competed in 75 percent of the team's spring races. In the classroom, members need to carry a minimum, cumulative 3.5 GPA. 

Elizabeth Berry, Kelly Farrell, Ashley Kinsley, Alisha Koti, Alyssa Rabade, Erin Snyder, Nicole Vitt and Rachel Wasserman were each honored for their work on the water and in the classroom. 

Berry, Farrell, Kinsley, Rabade, Snyder and Wasserman are each on the list for the second time in their careers. 

Rollins topped the Sunshine State Conference in scholar-athletes with Florida Tech placing seven, Nova Southeastern six, Barry three and Embry-Riddle one. Nationally, Pacific Lutheran led the way with 12 while the Tars, Humboldt State and Jefferson were second with eight each.
