Elizabeth Berry Tabbed Second Team All-America

WINTER PARK, Fla. (July 1, 2019) – Rollins standout senior Elizabeth Berry was named Second Team All-America by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) it was recently announced.

2019 Pocock Division II All-America

The Zionville, Indiana native joins Kim Lucy (2007) and Michelle Sousa (2010) as Rollins women's rowing All-Americans since the CRCA began the program.

Berry capped here collegiate career with a treasure trove of academic and athletic honors. She was named the 2019 Sunshine State Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year and First Team All-Sunshine State Conference. Berry was also a Rollins Class of 2019 Valedictorian.

In competition, Berry was the Rollins rowing team MVP, leading the Varsity 4 to a bronze medal at the 2019 Sunshine State Conference championship. As a junior, her Varsity 4 was named SSC Boat of the Week, finished third at the SSC Championship and fifth at the Dad Vail Championship. Berry was on the 2017 SSC Champion Varsity 4 crew. 

Berry is one of five Sunshine State Conference rowers on the 2019 All-America list. Florida Tech's Natalia Bonavilla and Svetlana Ristin and Barry's Alejandro Alonso Alderete were on the first team while Berry joined ERAU's Kayla Treder on the second team.
