Barry (1-1-1) (0-0-1) – 0

WINTER PARK, Fla. (September 23, 2017) – The Tars looked to keep their undefeated conference record alive, as Sunshine State Conference rival Barry came to Winter Park. After 110 minutes of action, neither team could capitalize on their chances, and the match concluded 0-0. Both teams settled for a hard-fought draw, as the Tars improve to 2-3-1, 1-0-1 in the SSC, while Barry sits at 1-1-1 overall, and 0-0-1 in the SSC.

First Half:
Throughout the first half, both teams battled and seemed to be evenly matched. However, it was the Bucs who would take a slight shot advantage to the locker room, 4-3. Barry would also generate four corners in the half, while the Tars managed none. Both goalkeepers were forced into making a single save.

Second Half: The second half picked up right where the first one concluded, with both teams trading chances throughout. Except, in this half, it would be the Tars who would outshoot the Bucs, 4-3. The Tars forced Barry's goalkeeper into one save.

Overtime: Both the Tars and the Bucs would leave it all on the field, while trying to find the game-winning goal. The best chance of the overtime period for the Tars came to junior Kiera McMeekan, when she drove a free-kick just over the Barry crossbar. The Bucs would force sophomore goalkeeper Kelly Rowswell into three overtime period saves, picking up her second consecutive clean sheet, and third on the season.
