The Tars will look to continue to solidify the spot in Sunshine State Conference standings. The Tars currently rank second, and have a matchup this week against sixth place Eckerd. Rollins picked up one conference win and one tie in last week's action defeating Palm Beach Atlantic 1-0 and, a tying against Tampa 0-0. Eckerd picked up a conference win against Saint Leo on the road. The Tritons are coming off a bye week, and are looking to capture their third consecutive win. Rollins continues their trek through the SSC, as they look to take steps to secure conference tournament seeding this week.
WHO TO WATCH:
Rollins (6-1-4, 4-1-1 SSC):
The Tars defense battled hard to not let either of last week's opponent score a goal. Rollins got their only goal of the two games from Kathryn O'Brien, who is leading the Tars in goals this season, with four. Jill Richards has added a team high five assists, along with three goals, to lead Rollins with 11 points. The senior's five assists also rank third in the SSC. Kelly Rowswell has seen the majority of the time net for Rollins. The two-time All-SSC selection is giving up just .684 goals per game, the second best mark in the conference.
Eckerd (6-3-1, 3-3-0 SSC):
The Tritons are coming off of a road win against Saint Leo that ended 3-2 in double overtime. Becky Carcker, Stephanie Linton, and Paula Astiazaran all had goals to help the Tritons come out on top against the Lions. The Tritons are 3-3-0 in conference play, and have won back-to-back games, defeating Lynn on September 29. Sophomore Stephanie Linton leads the Tritons, and sits fourth in the SSC in goals, having found the back of the net seven times. While freshman Becky Caraker has tallied a team best three assists. Casey Winn has a total of 556:21 minutes of the season and a .80 save percentage.

- Rollins is 16-10-1 all-time against the Tritons.
- Kelly Rowswell is second in the SSC for goals against average, save percentage, and shutouts per game, while she is third in total saves and saves per game.
Rollins will face Saint Leo in SSC action next week. The Tars will take on the Lions on Wednesday, October 17, at 7 p.m. at home.
