Rollins looks to extend their postseason run, as they travel to Ft. Lauderdale to take on Nova Southeastern in the 2018 Sunshine State Conference Women's Soccer Tournament Semifinals. The Tars earned the third seed entering the postseason, and dispatched the sixth seeded Florida Tech Panthers in quarterfinal action. The Sharks are well rested after earning the second seed, and a first round bye. Rollins handled Nova Southeastern earlier in the season. The Tars defeated the Sharks 3-1on the turf at Barker Family Stadium. Rollins will be hoping for a repeat performance, with a berth in the SSC Tournament Championship Game on the line.

Rollins (9-2-5, 6-2-2 SSC):
Chynna McGirt tallied her fifth goal of the season in the Tars' first round win over Florida Tech. The sophomore now sits third on the squad with 13 points. She was assisted by Kathryn O'Brien on the play, who has now registered 14 points during the 2018 season. The West Springfield, Massachusetts native has tallied a team leading six goals and a pair of assists. Jill Richards, who has tallied four goals and six assists, has also tallied 14 points on the year. The duo is tied for the tenth best mark in the conference. Sarah Buckley has scored five times, and Kiera McMeekan has found the net three times to round out the Tars' multi-goal scorers. Overall ten Tars have found the net, as part of an offense that has scored 28 goals this season, four times more than in 2017, and is averaging 1.64 goals per game. McGirt trails Richards on the assist leaderboard, with three, while O'Brien and freshman Meghan Mosley have each dished out two helpers. The Tars defense is giving up just .70 goals per game, and is led by junior keeper Kelly Rowswell, who has maintained a .874 save percentage, including a six save, clean sheet in the quarterfinals.
Nova Southeastern (12-5-1, 7-2-1 SSC):
The Sharks enter the postseason on a five game winning streak, and a six game unbeaten streak. Nova Southeastern's last loss came on their trip to Winter Park. Over that run of play the Sharks are outscoring their opponents 12-5. For the season Nova Southeastern ranks second in the SSC averaging 2.389 goals per game. Emma Heikkila leads the offensive charge for the Sharks; the junior sits third in the SSC with 22 points on the year, coming on nine goals, also the third highest total in the conference, and four assists. Adanna Edwards has also been a force for the Sharks, tallying seven goals and three assists for a total of 17 points. Overall, eight Sharks have found the back of the net multiple times while 12 total players have recorded at least one goal. Along with Heikkila, Hannah Christophe and Kirsten Russel are tied for the team lead with four assists each. Natalie Robayna has seen the majority of the time in net for the Sharks, starting 10 games. She has made 42 saves, with a 1.16 goals against average, and a .778 save percentage. Shannon Hearty and Sarah Aikens have also made starts in goal for Nova Southeastern.
- The Tars last postseason appearance was in 2016. Rollins defeated Tampa in their opening contest before they fell in the SSC Tournament Semifinals. However, Rollins still earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament that year, downing Lee in the first round.

The winner of this game will advance to play the winner of top-seeded Barry against fifth-seeded Embry-Riddle. The match will take place at the home of the highest remaining seed, and is scheduled for Sunday, November 4, at 1 p.m.
