KANSAS CITY, Mo. (October 8, 2019) – Rollins rose again in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll, settling just outside the top-10 at No. 11 this week.
The Tars are 6-2-0 overall, and a perfect 3-0-0 in Sunshine State Conference play. Last time out the Tars used a dominant first half performance to upend Eckerd by a score of 3-1. The Tars currently sit second in the conference, and are the only team in the SSC featured in the national ranks.
The top-three remain the same, with the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs occupying the top spot, and the University of California-San Diego behind them. The Tars two losses on the year occupy the third and fourth places, with Grand Valley State in the third spot, and Flagler jumping two spots to No. 4. The University of Central Missouri moved up from the seventh spot to round out the top-five this week.
The Tars return to action tomorrow, Wednesday, October 9, when they head west to take on Saint Leo. Kickoff against the Lions is set for 7 p.m.
