Tars Battle Sharks and Knights in SSC Double Dual

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (October 27, 2018) – The Tars faced a quick bounce back after hosting Saint Leo Friday night, traveling to Fort Lauderdale Fla. to compete against Nova Southeastern and Lynn. Despite some solid individual results, Rollins finished third with 20 points. NSU racked up 237 and Lynn 124.

Freshman Beatriz Olivieri was back in the pool, recording a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly in (2:06.42), third place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:11.23 and a fourth-place finish in the 100-freestyle (55.11).

Maya Thompson recorded a time of 25.13 in the 50-freestyle, which was good enough for third place.

Marisa Grigerich finished third place in the 200 backstroke in 2:13.02 and fourth place in the 100-backstroke hitting the wall in 1:02.62.

Rollins will now have a break but will be back on Friday November 16th traveling to Florida Tech for the Panther Invitational.
