Rollins Faces Two Conference Matchups

SET UP: The Rollins women's swim team is back in the pool on Friday traveling to Saint Leo before hosting Lynn on Saturday for their last home meet of the season. The Tars are coming off a meet against Florida Tech last week, a dual meet win for the Tars. Rollins swam against Saint Leo in October at home with the Lions coming out on top. The Tars also swam against Lynn in a double dual at Nova Southeastern in October with the Fighting Knights winning. Prior to the start, Rollins will honor seniors Grace Hansen, Jade Grimes, Makenzie Grider, Isabel Roche

WHOM TO WATCH:

ROLLINS: Freshman Beatriz Olivieri and Sydney Willis are the Tars top swimmers on the year. Olivieri has the SSC's fastest 200 butterfly time this season while ranking seventh in the 100 fly. She is sixth in the SSC in the 200 freestyle along with Willis setting the third-fastest 500 freestyle time. Senior Makenzie Grider is fourth in the league in the 1650 freestyle and sixth in the 1000. Maya Thompson ranks 20th in the 50 freestyle and 19th in the 100.

SAINT LEO: Annie Lindstrom is ranked fourth SSC in the 50 yard freestyle. Julia Chmielewska has the fifth fastest time in the SSC in the 50 backstroke and 100 backstroke. Paulina Majszutowicz has the third fastest time in the 50, 100, and 200 breaststroke in the SSC. Karina Kolb is ranked fourth in the 50 butterfly.

LYNN: Catalina Galea Berraud has the fifth fastest time in the 1000 freestyle and has the second fastest fastest 1650 freestyle time in the SSC. Karolina Smylek takes the fastest time in 200 backstroke, third fastest 100 backstroke, and sixth in the 50 backstroke. 

NEXT: 
Rollins travels February 21 to the Sunshine State Conference Championship at Clearwater, Fla. for the three day event.
