TEMPE, Ariz. (July 24, 2018) – The Tars' women's tennis team was named an ITA All-Academic Team, while six Rollins student-athletes earned recognition as Scholar Athletes. The ITA All-Academic Team is awarded to teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. ITA Scholar Athletes earned a varsity letter, have been enrolled at their institution for two semesters, and maintained a GPA of 3.5. Alexandra Borg, Paula Collado Cordon, Katie Dyson, Savanna Fuller, Carlye Goldman, Teresa Kaiser all received the individual honor.

The Women's tennis squad posted a 3.702 GPA in the Fall Semester and a 3.534 in the Spring Semester. Nine Rollins student-athletes were named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Rollins finished the 2018 season with a record of 13-9 overall, and 6-4 in SSC play. The ITA ranked the Tars No. 20 to close the season. Fabiana Vitanza and Alexandra Borg are the No. 41 ranked double team in the nation.
