TEMPE, Ariz. (July 19, 2019) – Rollins has been named an ITA All-Academic Team, with seven players, Alexandra Borg, Marie Debruyn, Katie Dyson, Savanna Fuller, Carlye Goldman, Kaitlynn Groves, and Teresa Kaiser, earning the title All-Academic Scholar Athletes.

The ITA All-Academic Team Award is given to any team that earned a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or better, while the individual honor is given to players who tallied at least a 3.50 GPA in the current academic year.
Women's Tennis led the way in the classroom for the Tars in the second semester, earning a 3.656 GPA in the spring, after recording a 3.402 in the fall. The squad put nine players on the Fall Rollins Athletic Director's Honor before placing 11 members on the spring list, along with 11 players on the Spring Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
The Tars finished the 2018-19 season at 10-12, and 4-6 in SSC action. The Tars earned a spot in the conference tournament where they fell in the quarterfinal round.
