COACH ROBINSON'S THOUGHTS:
"While we were disappointed in the outcome today, I have to give a lot of credit to Eckerd for staying relentless on both defense and offense. I also want to recognize senior Rachel Fletcher's defensive efforts, as it was so fitting that she earned her 1,000 career dig in a match where she played terrific defense. We played today in honor of kids fighting much more serious battles than a volleyball game, and Rachel is a wonderful example of a selfless player who comes every day prepared to give her team her absolute best. We are thrilled to have raised over $1,600 for the Goal 4 the Goal foundation, and we look forward to getting back into the practice gym to keep improving our game. We know that the SSC season is a long one, and there are still a lot of games left to play."
