WINTER PARK, Fla. (September 3, 2019) – As Hurricane Dorian moves off the coast of Florida, modified sports schedules across the state are beginning to take shape.
Rollins volleyball will begin its 2019 season at the Flagler Saints Invitational, but a day later than originally scheduled. Due to the storm, Flagler announced it will shift the entire tournament back one day while keeping the same match-ups and start times.
The Tars will now meet Southern Wesleyan at 10 a.m. and Shorter at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 7 to kick off the season. Sunday's action includes matches against Newberry at 2 p.m. and host Flagler at 7 p.m. All matches are slated to take place at the Saints Gymnasium in St. Augustine.
Rollins volleyball plans on returning to campus Thursday and immediately begin preparing for the tournament.
