DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (September 17, 2018) – Running on the same course for the season-ending Sunshine State Conference Championship, Rollins women's cross country took 13th at the Embry-Riddle Asics Classic on Saturday.

Seton Hall won the race, followed by Florida Southern and host Embry-Riddle.

The event gave the Tars a great look at course for the Rollins-hosted Sunshine State Conference Championship this November. A true cross country tract, the venue features one of the few large hills in the state and multiple running surfaces.

Sinead McDonald powered her way to an 82nd place finish in a time of 24:27 to pace the Tars. Aby Wong was 101st in 26:51.26 and Laura Tobin 102nd in 26:51.31.

Alex Lichtner took 109th with a time of 30:32. Nicole Hubert (111st) and Katie Rioux (112nd) both ran times of 31:02. Chaerin Kim finished 115th in 39:45.

Rollins will have an off week before getting back on the course Friday, Sept. 15 at the FLrunners.com Invitational in Lakeland. The race will be run on the same course as the season-opening Holloway Park Invitational.
