GAINESVILLE, FLA.(September 14, 2019)- The Rollins women's cross country team did the dew Saturday, running at the Mountain Dew Invitational in Gainesville.
Rollins took eight runners to the 5K event and finished 34th overall. Host University of Florida took the win while Tampa was second and North Florida took third.
Freshman Nicole Rodriquez- Martinez lead the pack for the Tars for the second time in as many weeks and finished 253th with a time of 23:49.5. Freshman Natasha Kusibab finished 255th with a time of23:52.2. Sophomore Anna Belle Warren finished 272nd with a time of 25:40.0. Warren set another personal best by one minute.
Freshman Angelina Khourisader placed 273th with a time of 25:52.2. Junior Laura Tobin finished 278 stopping the time of 26:18.8. Sophomore Emily Zientek with a time of 26:33.9 placing 280. Sophomore Kerstin Carroll finished 291 and stopped the clock at 27:57.4. Junior Alexandra Lichtner finished 293 with a time of 28:55.8. Sophomore Carys Davidson-Huxley finished 300 with a time of 31:11.9. Freshman Courtney Trohn placed 304 and stopped the clock at 33:57.5.
Rollins will travel next weekend to Daytona Beach, Fla. for the ERAU/ Asics Classic September 21.
